41 Isaiah said these things because (A)he saw his glory and (B)spoke of him. 42 Nevertheless, (C)many even of the authorities believed in him, but (D)for fear of the Pharisees they did not (E)confess it, so that they would not be (F)put out of the synagogue; 43 (G)for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.

42 Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him.(C) But because of the Pharisees(D) they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue;(E) 43 for they loved human praise(F) more than praise from God.(G)
