The Son of Man Must Be Lifted Up
23 Jesus said:
The time has come for the Son of Man to be given his glory.[a] 24 I tell you for certain that a grain of wheat that falls on the ground will never be more than one grain unless it dies. But if it dies, it will produce lots of wheat. 25 (A) If you love your life, you will lose it. If you give it up in this world, you will be given eternal life.

23 Jesus replied, “The hour(A) has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.(B) 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies,(C) it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it(D) for eternal life.(E)
