²⁸ “And afterward,
    I will pour out my Spirit^(A) on all people.^(B)
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,^(C)
    your old men will dream dreams,^(D)
    your young men will see visions.
²⁹ Even on my servants,^(E) both men and women,
    I will pour out my Spirit in those days.^(F)
30 I will show wonders in the heavens^(G)
    and on the earth,^(H)
    blood and fire and billows of smoke.
³¹ The sun will be turned to darkness^(I)
    and the moon to blood
    before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.^(J)
32 And everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord^(K) will be saved;^(L)
for on Mount Zion^(M) and in Jerusalem
    there will be deliverance,^(N)
    as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors^(O)
    whom the Lord calls.^[a](P)

³ For I will pour water^(A) on the thirsty land,
    and streams on the dry ground;^(B)
I will pour out my Spirit^(C) on your offspring,
    and my blessing^(D) on your descendants.^(E)
4 They will spring up like grass^(F) in a meadow,
    like poplar trees^(G) by flowing streams.^(H)
5 Some will say, ‘I belong^(I) to the Lord’;
    others will call themselves by the name of Jacob;
still others will write on their hand,^(J) ‘The Lord’s,’^(K)
    and will take the name Israel.
