Job 9:5-10
New American Standard Bible
5 (A)It is God who removes the mountains, and they do not know how,
When He overturns them in His anger.
6 It is He who (B)shakes the earth from its place,
And its (C)pillars tremble;
7 Who commands the (D)sun [a]not to shine,
And puts a seal on the stars;
8 Who alone (E)stretches out the heavens,
And [b](F)tramples down the waves of the sea;
9 Who makes the (G)Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades,
And the [c](H)constellations of the south.
10 It is He who (I)does great things, [d]the unfathomable,
And wondrous works without number.

And [b](B)Abaddon has no covering.

And hangs the earth on nothing.
8 He (D)wraps up the waters in His clouds,
And the cloud does not burst under them.
9 He [c](E)obscures the face of the [d]full moon
And spreads His cloud over it.
10 He has inscribed a (F)circle on the surface of the waters
At the (G)boundary of light and darkness.
11 The pillars of heaven tremble
And are amazed at His rebuke.
12 With His power He (H)quieted the sea,
And by His (I)understanding He shattered [e](J)Rahab.
13 By His breath the (K)heavens are [f]cleared;
His hand has pierced (L)the fleeing serpent.
14 Behold, these are the fringes of His ways;
And how faint (M)a word we hear of Him!
But His mighty (N)thunder, who can understand?”
