^22 (A)Many will say to Me on ^(B)that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many ^[a]miracles?’

²³ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; ^(A)leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

^3 (A)By this we know that we have come to ^(B)know Him, if we ^(C)keep His commandments.

¹⁴ We know that we have ^(A)passed out of death into life, ^(B)because we love the brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death.

^18 (A)Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and ^(B)truth.

¹⁹ We will know by this that we are ^(A)of the truth, and will set our heart at ease before Him,

^21 (A)Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have ^(B)confidence ^[a]before God;

²⁴ The one who ^(A)keeps His commandments ^(B)remains in Him, and He in him. ^(C)We know by this that ^(D)He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
