⁹ And you sent widows^(A) away empty-handed^(B)
    and broke the strength of the fatherless.^(C)
10 That is why snares^(D) are all around you,^(E)
    why sudden peril terrifies you,^(F)
11 why it is so dark^(G) you cannot see,
    and why a flood of water covers you.^(H)
