12 And when they raised their eyes from afar, and did not recognize him, they lifted their voices and wept; and each one tore his robe and (A)sprinkled dust on his head toward heaven. 13 So they sat down with him on the ground (B)seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his grief was very great.

12 When they saw him from a distance, they could hardly recognize him;(A) they began to weep aloud,(B) and they tore their robes(C) and sprinkled dust on their heads.(D) 13 Then they sat on the ground(E) with him for seven days and seven nights.(F) No one said a word to him,(G) because they saw how great his suffering was.
