²⁴ O Babylon, I have set a trap for you and you are caught, for you have fought against the Lord.

²⁵ The Lord has opened his armory and brought out weapons to explode his wrath upon his enemies. The terror that befalls Babylon will be the work of the Lord God. ²⁶ Yes, come against her from distant lands; break open her granaries; knock down her walls and houses into heaps of ruins and utterly destroy her; let nothing be left.
