Prophecy of the End Time

¹⁸ And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. ¹⁹ But ^(A)woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! ²⁰ And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. ²¹ For ^(B)then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

^19 (A)For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be.

The Great Apostasy

4 Now the Spirit ^[a]expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed ^(A)to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, ^2 (B)speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience ^(C)seared with a hot iron, ³ forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. ⁴ For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;
