Jeremiah 6:2-5

² The beautiful and ^(A)delicate one, ^(B)the daughter of Zion, I will destroy.
^3 (C)Shepherds and their flocks will come to her,
They will ^(D)pitch their tents ^[a]around her,
They will pasture, each in his ^[b]place.
⁴ ‘^[c](E)Prepare for war against her;
Arise, and let’s ^[d]attack at ^(F)noon.
Woe to us, for the day declines,
For the shadows of the evening lengthen!
⁵ Arise, and let’s ^[e]attack by night
And ^(G)destroy her ^[f]palaces!’”
