Jeremiah 50:6-8

6 My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray; they have turned them away on the mountains; they have gone from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting-place. 7 All that found them have devoured them; and their adversaries said, We are not guilty, because they have sinned against Jehovah, the habitation of righteousness, even Jehovah, the hope of their fathers. 8 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he-goats before the flocks.

They wandered over mountain and hill(D)
and forgot their own resting place.(E)
7 Whoever found them devoured(F) them;

for they sinned against the Lord, their verdant pasture,
the Lord, the hope(H) of their ancestors.’
