English Standard Version

27 And (A)I will kindle a fire in the wall of (B)Damascus,
    and it shall devour the strongholds of (C)Ben-hadad.”

Judgment on Kedar and Hazor

28 Concerning (D)Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck down.

Thus says the Lord:
(E)“Rise up, advance against (F)Kedar!
    Destroy (G)the people of the east!
29 (H)Their tents and their flocks shall be taken,
    their (I)curtains and all their goods;
their camels shall be led away from them,
    and men shall cry to them: (J)‘Terror on every side!’

“Arise, and attack Kedar
    and destroy the people of the East.(H)

    with all their goods and camels.
People will shout to them,
