21 then (A)My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers. 22 As (B)the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I (C)multiply the descendants of David My servant and the (D)Levites who minister to Me.’ ”
23 Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

21 then my covenant(A) with David my servant—and my covenant with the Levites(B) who are priests ministering before me—can be broken and David will no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne.(C) 22 I will make the descendants of David my servant and the Levites who minister before me as countless(D) as the stars in the sky and as measureless as the sand on the seashore.’”
