2 Therefore thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who are shepherding My people: “You have scattered My flock and banished them and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to (A)attend to you for the (B)evil of your deeds,” declares Yahweh. 3 “Then I Myself will (C)gather the remnant of My flock out of all the land where I have banished them and cause them to return to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply. 4 I will also raise up (D)shepherds over them, and they will [a]shepherd them; and they will (E)not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, (F)nor will any be left unattended,” declares Yahweh.

2 Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds(A) who tend my people: “Because you have scattered my flock(B) and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil(C) you have done,” declares the Lord. 3 “I myself will gather the remnant(D) of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture,(E) where they will be fruitful and increase in number. 4 I will place shepherds(F) over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid(G) or terrified, nor will any be missing,(H)” declares the Lord.
