Why are You like a sojourner in the land
Or like a traveler who has pitched his tent to lodge for the night?
Why are You like a man confused,
Like a mighty man who (D)cannot save?

Do not leave us!”

10 Thus says Yahweh to this people, “Even so they have (G)loved to wander; they have not (H)kept their feet in check. Therefore Yahweh does (I)not accept them; now He will (J)remember their iniquity and punish their sins.”

Why are you like a man taken by surprise,
    like a warrior powerless to save?(D)
You are among(E) us, Lord,

10 This is what the Lord says about this people:

“They greatly love to wander;
    they do not restrain their feet.(H)
So the Lord does not accept(I) them;
    he will now remember(J) their wickedness
