New American Standard Bible
7 (A)Seek the [a]prosperity of the city where I have sent you into exile, and (B)pray to the Lord in its behalf; for [b]in its [c]prosperity will be your [d]prosperity.’ 8 For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: ‘Do not let your (C)prophets who are in your midst or your diviners (D)deceive you, and do not listen to their interpretations of (E)your dreams which you dream. 9 For they (F)prophesy falsely to you in My name; (G)I have not sent them,’ declares the Lord.
10 “For this is what the Lord says: ‘When (H)seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My (I)good word to you, to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the (J)plans that I [e]have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for [f](K)prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a (L)hope. 12 Then you will (M)call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will (N)listen to you. 13 And you will (O)seek Me and find Me when you (P)search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will let Myself be (Q)found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will (R)restore your fortunes and (S)gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will (T)bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’
