But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt,(A) because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded(B) and unstable(C) in all they do.

Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position.(D) 10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower.(E)

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
