¹⁹ My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth^(A) and someone should bring that person back,^{(B) 20} remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save^(C) them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.^(D)

²¹ She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,^[a](A) because he will save his people from their sins.”^(B)

⁵ “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;^(A) apart from me you can do nothing. ⁶ If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.^(B)

¹⁹ Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out,^(A) that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

³ Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,^{(A) 4} who gave himself for our sins^(B) to rescue us from the present evil age,^(C) according to the will of our God and Father,^(D)

¹⁸ And he is the head^(A) of the body, the church;^(B) he is the beginning and the firstborn^(C) from among the dead,^(D) so that in everything he might have the supremacy. ¹⁹ For God was pleased^(E) to have all his fullness^(F) dwell in him, ²⁰ and through him to reconcile^(G) to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven,^(H) by making peace^(I) through his blood,^(J) shed on the cross.

²¹ Once you were alienated from God and were enemies^(K) in your minds^(L) because of^[a] your evil behavior. ²² But now he has reconciled^(M) you by Christ’s physical body^(N) through death to present you^(O) holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation^(P)—
