9 Beloved,[a] do not grumble against one another, so that you may not be judged. See, the Judge is standing at the doors! 10 As an example of suffering and patience, beloved,[b] take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 Indeed we call blessed those who showed endurance. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters,(A) or you will be judged. The Judge(B) is standing at the door!(C)
10 Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets(D) who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 As you know, we count as blessed(E) those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance(F) and have seen what the Lord finally brought about.(G) The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.(H)
