12 But above all, (A)my brothers and sisters, (B)do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but [a]your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you do not fall under judgment.

13 Is anyone among you (C)suffering? (D)Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to (E)sing praises. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for (F)the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, [b](G)anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15 and the (H)prayer of faith will [c](I)restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will (J)raise him up, and if he has committed sins, [d]they will be forgiven him.

The Prayer of Faith

13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray.(B) Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.(C) 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders(D) of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil(E) in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith(F) will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
