15 (A)This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For (B)where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But (C)the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, (D)without partiality (E)and without hypocrisy. 18 (F)Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven(D) is first of all pure; then peace-loving,(E) considerate, submissive, full of mercy(F) and good fruit, impartial and sincere.(G) 18 Peacemakers(H) who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.(I)
