2 My brothers and sisters, when you show favoritism you deny the faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has been resurrected in glory.

James 2:1

New International Version

2 My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious^(A) Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism.^(B)

⁹But when you show favoritism, you are committing a sin, and by that same law you are exposed as a lawbreaker.

⁹But if you show favoritism,^(A) you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.^(B)
