²⁷ But when a wicked person turns away ^(A)from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life. ²⁸ Since he understood and turned away from all his offenses which he had committed, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.

³² For I take ^(A)no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!”

¹⁹ Therefore ^(A)repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that ^(B)times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

¹⁰ For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a ^(A)repentance ^[a]without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.

⁴⁰ For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who ^(A)sees the Son and ^(B)believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will ^(C)raise him up on the last day.”

¹⁶ “For God so ^(A)loved the world, that He ^(B)gave His ^(C)only Son, so that everyone who ^(D)believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.
