Isaiah 25:7-9

New International Version

⁷ On this mountain he will destroy
    the shroud^(A) that enfolds all peoples,^(B)
the sheet that covers all nations;
⁸     he will swallow up death^(C) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears^(D)
    from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace^(E)
    from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.^(F)

“Surely this is our God;^(H)
    we trusted^(I) in him, and he saved^(J) us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in him;
    let us rejoice^(K) and be glad in his salvation.”^(L)
