¹⁰ The stars of heaven and their constellations
    will not show their light.^(A)
The rising sun^(B) will be darkened^(C)
    and the moon will not give its light.^(D)

²³ The moon will be dismayed,
    the sun^(A) ashamed;
for the Lord Almighty will reign^(B)
    on Mount Zion^(C) and in Jerusalem,
    and before its elders—with great glory.^(D)

⁷ When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens
    and darken their stars;
I will cover the sun with a cloud,

    all the ravines of Judah will run with water.^(O)
A fountain will flow out of the Lord’s house^(P)

19 But Egypt^(R) will be desolate,
    Edom^(S) a desert waste,
because of violence^(T) done to the people of Judah,
    in whose land they shed innocent blood.
²⁰ Judah will be inhabited forever^(U)
    and Jerusalem through all generations.
²¹ Shall I leave their innocent blood unavenged?^(V)
    No, I will not.^(W)”
