Isaiah 8:10-12

New King James Version

¹⁰^(A)Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing;
Speak the word, ^(B)but it will not stand,
^(C)For ^[a]God is with us.”

¹¹For the Lord spoke thus to me with ^[b]a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying:

¹²“Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’
Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy,
Nor be afraid of their ^[c]threats, nor be ^[d]troubled.

propose your plan, but it will not stand,^(B)

¹¹This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me,^(D) warning me not to follow^(E) the way of this people:

everything this people calls a conspiracy;
do not fear what they fear,^(G)
