Isaiah 59:18-20
New English Translation
18 He repays them for what they have done,
dispensing angry judgment to his adversaries
and punishing his enemies.[a]
He repays the coastlands.[b]
19 In the west, people respect[c] the Lord’s reputation;[d]
in the east they recognize his splendor.[e]
For he comes like a rushing[f] stream
driven on by wind sent from the Lord.[g]
20 “A protector[h] comes to Zion,
to those in Jacob who repent of their rebellious deeds,”[i] says the Lord.

Isaiah 59:18-20
New International Version
18 According to what they have done,
so will he repay(A)
wrath to his enemies
and retribution to his foes;
he will repay the islands(B) their due.
19 From the west,(C) people will fear the name of the Lord,
and from the rising of the sun,(D) they will revere his glory.(E)
For he will come like a pent-up flood
that the breath(F) of the Lord drives along.[a]
