Isaiah 44:5-8
New American Standard Bible
5 This one will say, ‘I am the Lord’s’;
And that one [a]will call on the name of Jacob;
And another will (A)write [b]on his hand, ‘Belonging to the Lord,’
And will give himself Israel’s name with honor.
6 “This is what the Lord says, He who is the (B)King of Israel and his (C)Redeemer, the Lord of armies:
‘I am the (D)first and I am the last,
And there is no God (E)besides Me.
7 Who is like Me? (F)Let him proclaim and declare it;
And, let him confront Me
[c]Beginning with My establishing of the ancient [d]nation.
Then let them declare to them the things that are coming
And the events that are going to take place.
8 Do not tremble and do not be afraid;
(G)Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it?
And (H)you are My witnesses.
Is there any God (I)besides Me,
Or is there any other (J)Rock?
I know of none.’”
