Babylon to Be Destroyed

14 This is what the Lord your (A)Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:

“For your sake I have sent to Babylon,
And will bring them all down as fugitives,
[a]Even the (B)Chaldeans, into the (C)ships [b]over which they rejoice.

I will endure the rage of the Lord
Because I have sinned against Him,
Until He (E)pleads my case and executes justice for me.
He will bring me out to the (F)light,
And I will look at His [a](G)righteousness.
10 Then my enemy will see,
And shame will cover her who (H)said to me,
“Where is the Lord your God?”
My eyes will look at her;
[b]At that time she will [c]be (I)trampled down
Like mud of the streets.
11 It will be a day for (J)building your walls.
On that day your boundary will be extended.
12 It will be a day when [d]they will (K)come to you
From Assyria and the cities of Egypt,
From Egypt even to the Euphrates River,
Even from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.
