Isaiah 40:17-19

New International Version

¹⁷ Before him all the nations^(A) are as nothing;^(B)
    they are regarded by him as worthless
    and less than nothing.^(C)

¹⁸ With whom, then, will you compare God?^(D)
    To what image^(E) will you liken him?
¹⁹ As for an idol,^(F) a metalworker casts it,
    and a goldsmith^(G) overlays it with gold^(H)
    and fashions silver chains for it.
