The burning sand will become a pool,
    the thirsty ground(A) bubbling springs.(B)
In the haunts where jackals(C) once lay,
    grass and reeds(D) and papyrus will grow.

And a highway(E) will be there;
    it will be called the Way of Holiness;(F)
    it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean(G) will not journey on it;
    wicked fools will not go about on it.
No lion(H) will be there,
    nor any ravenous beast;(I)
    they will not be found there.
But only the redeemed(J) will walk there,
10     and those the Lord has rescued(K) will return.
They will enter Zion with singing;(L)
    everlasting joy(M) will crown their heads.
Gladness(N) and joy will overtake them,
    and sorrow and sighing will flee away.(O)
