⁵ “Woe^(A) to me!” I cried. “I am ruined!^(B) For I am a man of unclean lips,^(C) and I live among a people of unclean lips,^(D) and my eyes have seen^(E) the King,^(F) the Lord Almighty.”^(G)

⁴⁸ Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.^(A)

¹⁵ He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves^(A) in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts.^(B) What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight.

²³ But whoever has doubts^(A) is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.^[a]

² For since the message spoken^(A) through angels^(B) was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,^{(C) 3} how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation?^(D) This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord,^(E) was confirmed to us by those who heard him.^(F)
