Isaiah 56:5-6
New International Version
5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls(A)
a memorial(B) and a name
better than sons and daughters;
I will give them an everlasting name(C)
that will endure forever.(D)
6 And foreigners(E) who bind themselves to the Lord
to minister(F) to him,
to love the name(G) of the Lord,
and to be his servants,
all who keep the Sabbath(H) without desecrating it
and who hold fast to my covenant—
Isaiah 58:13-14
New International Version
13 “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath(A)
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight(B)
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,(C)
14 then you will find your joy(D) in the Lord,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights(E) of the land
and to feast on the inheritance(F) of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.(G)
