⁶ Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel
    and ^(A)his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
^(B)“I am the first and I am the last;
    besides me there is no god.

^5 (A)I am the Lord, and there is no other,
    besides me there is no God;
    ^(B)I equip you, though you do not know me,
^6 (C)that people may know, from the rising of the sun
    and from the west, that there is none besides me;
    I am the Lord, and there is no other.
