6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

6 The wolf will live with the lamb,(A)
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling[a] together;
and a little child will lead them.
7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.(B)
8 The infant(C) will play near the cobra’s den,
and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s(D) nest.
9 They will neither harm nor destroy(E)
on all my holy mountain,(F)
for the earth(G) will be filled with the knowledge(H) of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.
10 In that day(I) the Root of Jesse(J) will stand as a banner(K) for the peoples; the nations(L) will rally to him,(M) and his resting place(N) will be glorious.(O) 11 In that day(P) the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant(Q) of his people from Assyria,(R) from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt,(S) from Cush,[b](T) from Elam,(U) from Babylonia,[c] from Hamath(V) and from the islands(W) of the Mediterranean.(X)
12 He will raise a banner(Y) for the nations
and gather(Z) the exiles of Israel;(AA)
he will assemble the scattered people(AB) of Judah
from the four quarters of the earth.(AC)
13 Ephraim’s jealousy will vanish,
and Judah’s enemies[d] will be destroyed;
Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah,
nor Judah hostile toward Ephraim.(AD)
