³And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

New International Version

³Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast^(A) for all Judah.

⁴And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

⁴The people of Judah^(A) came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him.
