² for kings and all those in authority,^(A) that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness^(B) and holiness. ³ This is good, and pleases^(C) God our Savior,^{(D) 4} who wants^(E) all people^(F) to be saved^(G) and to come to a knowledge of the truth.^(H)
