Israel’s arrogance testifies against them.[a](A)
Both Israel and Ephraim stumble
because of their iniquity;(B)
even Judah will stumble with them.(C)
They go with their flocks and herds
to seek the Lord(D)
but do not find him;(E)
he has withdrawn from them.(F)
They betrayed the Lord;(G)
indeed, they gave birth to illegitimate children.(H)
Now the New Moon(I) will devour them
along with their fields.(J)
