¹⁴ how much more will ^(A)the blood of Christ, who through ^[a](B)the eternal Spirit ^(C)offered Himself without blemish to God, ^(D)cleanse your conscience from ^(E)dead works to serve ^(F)the living God?

²⁸ so Christ also, having been ^(A)offered once to ^(B)bear the sins of many, will appear ^(C)a second time for ^(D)salvation ^(E)without reference to sin, to those who ^(F)eagerly await Him.

¹⁷ Therefore, in all things He ^[a]had ^(A)to be made like His brothers so that He might ^(B)become a merciful and faithful ^(C)high priest in ^(D)things pertaining to God, to ^(E)make ^[b]propitiation for the sins of the people.

^24 [a]Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues ^(A)forever, holds His priesthood permanently. ²⁵ Therefore He is also able to ^(B)save ^[b]forever those who ^(C)come to God through Him, since He always lives to ^(D)make intercession for them.
