¹³ For everyone who partakes only of milk is unacquainted with the word of righteousness, for he is an ^(A)infant.

¹⁹ Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now ^(A)as good as dead since ^(B)he was about a hundred years old, and ^(C)the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

²⁰ yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, ^(A)giving glory to God,

To those who have received ^(C)a faith of the same ^[b]kind as ours, ^[c]by ^(D)the righteousness of ^(E)our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:

^16 [a]in addition to all, taking up the ^(A)shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the ^(B)flaming arrows of ^(C)the evil one.

⁴ For ^[a]whoever has been ^(A)born of God ^(B)overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.

⁵ Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who ^(A)believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
