12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, ^(A)let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and ^(B)let us run ^(C)with endurance the race that is set before us,

¹¹ For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me.

¹⁴ And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into ^(A)an angel of light. ¹⁵ Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, ^(B)whose end will be according to their works.

²⁰ Moreover ^(A)the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace ^(B)abounded much more,
