Hebrews 10:11-18

¹¹And every priest stands ^(A)daily at his service, ^(B)offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, ^(C)which can never take away sins. ¹²But when Christ^[a] had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he ^(D)sat down at the right hand of God, ¹³waiting from that time ^(E)until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. ¹⁴For by a single offering ^(F)he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

¹⁵And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,

¹⁶^(G)“This is the covenant that I will make with them
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws on their hearts,
and write them on their minds,”

¹⁷then he adds,

^(H)“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”

¹⁸Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.

¹¹Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices,^(A) which can never take away sins.^(B) ¹²But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins,^(C) he sat down at the right hand of God,^(D) ¹³and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool.^(E) ¹⁴For by one sacrifice he has made perfect^(F) forever those who are being made holy.^(G)

¹⁵The Holy Spirit also testifies^(H) to us about this. First he says:

¹⁶“This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.”^[a]^(I)

¹⁷Then he adds:

“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.”^[b]^(J)

¹⁸And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.
