12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run^(A) with perseverance^(B) the race marked out for us, ² fixing our eyes on Jesus,^(C) the pioneer^(D) and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross,^(E) scorning its shame,^(F) and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.^(G)

³² He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’^{(A) 33} In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet^(B) can die outside Jerusalem!

¹⁵ And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.^(A)

³¹ Now is the time for judgment on this world;^(A) now the prince of this world^(B) will be driven out. ³² And I, when I am lifted up^[a] from the earth,^(C) will draw all people to myself.”^(D)

⁵ In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:^(A)

¹⁰ This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us^(A) and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.^(B)
