8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the Lord of hosts. 9 The latter splendor of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts, and in this place I will give prosperity, says the Lord of hosts.”(A)

8 ‘The silver is mine and the gold(A) is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. 9 ‘The glory(B) of this present house(C) will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,(D)’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
