Haggai 2:3-5

3 ‘Who among you is left that saw this house in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it seem like nothing to you?[a] 4 ‘But now take courage,[b] Zerubbabel,’ declares[c] Yahweh. ‘Take courage,[d] Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and take courage,[e] all the people of the land,’ declares[f] Yahweh. ‘Do the work, because I am with you,’ declares[g] Yahweh of hosts, 5 ‘according to the promise[h] that I covenanted[i] with you when you came out of Egypt. My spirit is with you;[j] do not be afraid.’

3 ‘Who of you is left who saw this house(A) in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not seem to you like nothing?(B) 4 But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord. ‘Be strong,(C) Joshua son of Jozadak,(D) the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work. For I am with(E) you,’ declares the Lord Almighty. 5 ‘This is what I covenanted(F) with you when you came out of Egypt.(G) And my Spirit(H) remains among you. Do not fear.’(I)
