Habakkuk 2:8-10
Holman Christian Standard Bible

8 Since you have plundered many nations,
all the peoples who remain will plunder you—
because of human bloodshed
and violence against lands, cities,
and all who live in them.(A)

9 Woe to him who dishonestly makes
wealth for his house[a]
to place his nest on high,
to escape from the reach of disaster!(B)
10 You have planned shame for your house
by wiping out many peoples
and sinning against your own self.

8 Because you have plundered many nations,
    the peoples who are left will plunder you.(A)
For you have shed human blood;(B)
    you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.(C)

9 “Woe to him who builds(D) his house by unjust gain,(E)
    setting his nest(F) on high
    to escape the clutches of ruin!
10 You have plotted the ruin(G) of many peoples,
    shaming(H) your own house and forfeiting your life.

Zechariah 5:3-4

3 Then he said to me, “This is the curse(A) that is going out over the whole land, for every thief will be removed according to what is written on one side, and everyone who swears falsely will be removed according to what is written on the other side. 4 I will send it out,”(B)—this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts—“and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It will stay inside his house and destroy it along with its timbers and stones.”(C)

It will remain in that house and destroy it completely, both its timbers and its stones.(E)’”
