Genesis 17:8-9

⁸ Also ^(A)I give to you and your descendants after you the land ^(B)in^[a] which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and ^(C)I will be their God.”

⁹ And God said to Abraham: “As for you, ^(D)you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.
