Genesis 3:15-17

“I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing;
    ^(C)in pain you shall bring forth children.
^(D)Your desire shall be contrary to^[b] your husband,
    but he shall ^(E)rule over you.”

“Because you have listened to the voice of your wife
    and have eaten of the tree
^(F)of which I commanded you,
    ‘You shall not eat of it,’
^(G)cursed is the ground because of you;
    ^(H)in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
