18 Then his brothers also came and (A)fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” 19 But Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in God’s place? 20 As for you, (B)you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about [a]this present result, to keep many people alive. 21 So therefore, do not be afraid; (C)I will provide for you and your little ones.” So he comforted them and spoke [b]kindly to them.

New International Version
18 His brothers then came and threw themselves down before him.(A) “We are your slaves,”(B) they said.
19 But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God?(C) 20 You intended to harm me,(D) but God intended(E) it for good(F) to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.(G) 21 So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.(H)” And he reassured them and spoke kindly(I) to them.
