Genesis 49:15-17

New International Version

¹⁵ When he sees how good is his resting place
    and how pleasant is his land,^(A)
he will bend his shoulder to the burden^(B)
    and submit to forced labor.^(C)

¹⁶ “Dan^[a](D) will provide justice for his people
    as one of the tribes of Israel.^(E)
17 Dan^(F) will be a snake by the roadside,
    a viper along the path,^(G)
that bites the horse’s heels^(H)
    so that its rider tumbles backward.
